Career Opportunities
On completion of the BSc. Applied Archaeology you will be a qualified Archaeologist. Graduates from the programme work in a wide variety of workplace sectors. Graduates of this degree can find employment in a range of posts including:

- Local Government (County Councils and Corporations)

Graduates may also choose to pursue postgraduate studies in specialised areas leading to Masters or Doctorate qualifications.
What are my further study opportunities?
On successful completion of the Higher certificate in Applied Archaeology/BSc.Applied Archaeology (Level 7) there is an option to progress to the BSc. Archaeology(Level 7) / BSc. (Honours) Applied Archaeology (Level 8) at Institute of Technology, Sligo and then to a research postgraduate qualification (MSc. and PhD) in Applied Archaeology.
