Biography

I am a feminist sociologist and lecturer in Social Research and Sociology in the Department of Social Science, IT Sligo. I teach a number of modules including "Introduction to Sociology", "Health, the Body and Society"' "Social Science Research Methods" and "Dissertation". I have supervised to Masters and PhD levels. My research interests are: narrative inquiry; qualitative methodology; feminist theory; critical weight studies; and gender and social care. I welcome inquiries from incoming Masters and PhD students with these general interests.
